Boys Noize – The Remixes 2004 – 2011

A while back a few blogs were crying out that Boys Noize Records were sending out take down notices, a lot of them for posts that were years old. Now it makes sense, as Boys Noize looks to release an albums worth of remixes, spanning the years 2004 to 2011.

A Boys Noize remix was always something to look forward to, as he brought his own inimitable style to artists such as Daft Punk, Para One, Editors and Depeche Mode. He even made Q’s Musical Innovators, Kaiser Chiefs sound good.

I’m obviously not going to post any MP3′s, so here’s just a few of my BN faves.

Tears For Fears/Audionite – Kling Klong Shout (Tommie Sunshine & Disco Fries Bootleg)

To be honest there are probably two or three mash-ups in the history of time that I enjoy. Four, now if you count Tommie Sunshine & Disco Fries blending of Tears For Fears ‘Shout’ and Audionite’s ‘Kling Klong’. Tommie has been dropping this on his tour over the summer and the reaction has been phenomenal. You can’t really fail can you – mix a banger with something people recognise and, best of all, can scream along to and you’re winning.
