The Subs have got together with a dream list of collaborators for their new EP, out today on Lektroluv Records. For little dollar, you get Lektroluv fave, John Roman, Japanese giant Shinichi Osawa, frankly legendary French producer Etienne De Crecy and Hoshina Anniversary, who had the massive ‘Chicago’ out on GND Records last year.
There’s a new Shinichi Osawa single out on the 31st August through GND Records. ‘Singapore Madness’ sees Osawa team up with Paul Chambers on a techno behemoth that just cleared the fluid ear I’ve been suffering with for a month. Thanks guys! You can check out the track on Soundcloud HERE and download a new mix below.
BeatauCue, the artists with a name I find it almost impossible remembering how to spell. Apparently the name is a mix of DJ vocabulary and something very rude in French. It’s given me some sort of dyslexia anyway and now I have to write it down two or three times a day, just to get it into my head.
Alexis and Mederic are two French lads from Caen and their new EP, Falcon Punch, is their third to be released on Kitsune, since Cha Cha Cha in spring last year. Falcon Punch is an original six track EP, which starts slowly with opening track ‘Close’ then pretty much smashes the electro crap out of you for the next five tracks. The title track especially is a monster and ‘H.O.W.L’, a collaboration with dance titan Shinichi Osawa, is a throbbing battering ram of a tune, which has much the same effect on me as the synonymous Falcon Punch.
The EP is released as a Beatport exclusive on June 27th and then on general release July4th. Get a taste of it in the downloadable minimix below

Riptide is Holland’s Max Bedeker and he came to our attention back in ’09 with his grinding remix of Jennifer Delano’s ‘Amsterdam’. He followed this up with a fantastic remix of Shinichi Osawa’s ‘Love Will Guide You’ that’s still boasting multiple plays on the office stereo months later.

His new tune ‘What You Want’ was featured on Brooklyn Fire’s compilation Fire House Two and recently got played out on #1 DJ In The World, Tiesto’s Club Life Radio show. You can grab a free download of it below

Check out the rest of the Fire House Two compilation and keep your ear to the rail track for the approach of the next release on Brooklyn Fire, coming soon.
I took this with the intention of having it as a Christmas card, but Miss SS thinks it’s too creepy. She thinks it’s more like a slightly jaunty commiseration card. Oh well, the kids in Santa hats it is then.
Work’s a bit mad at the moment and that means I’m working stupid hours, so not much time to blog. I’m going to leave you with this for now. But normal service will resume shortly
