In No Particular Order

Always avoided lists, but this year I’ve decided to feature twenty of my favourite tunes from 2011. All that’s required is that they were released this year and I found myself going to back to them again and again. It’s a strange mix, but then there’s no accounting for taste. As the title suggests, the tracks listed aren’t in any particular order, just as I remember them.

Well, just as I was going into winter hibernation mode, with the banging tunes placed in a sound proofed chest until spring, up pops Azzido Da Bass’s new tune on Lektroluv. Featuring remixes from Sound of Stereo, Tocadisco, The Drill, ‘Dooms Day’ has taken a long time to come around, since ‘Dooms Night’ eleven years ago. Is it really eleven years? Fuck’s sake…
